Will it arrive in time?
Yes. Order by 1 PM Eastern on a business day and it ships the same day by 2-day air, so it arrives within 2 business days. If your order doesn’t arrive by the delivery date promised at checkout, we will refund your entire order in full, and you keep it. Full policy
Will all of the ashes fit?
Yes, for adults up to 225 lbs at a healthy weight. This full-size urn holds 225 cubic inches, and the general guide is one cubic inch of capacity per pound of healthy body weight. If the ashes fit the funeral home’s temporary container, they’ll fit here, or you get a full refund. When in doubt, contact our team and we will confirm the right choice before you order.
Will my funeral home accept an urn bought online?
Yes. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must accept an urn you provide, cannot charge a handling fee for it, and cannot require you to buy one from them.
Will the ashes be safe inside?
Yes. The urn closes with our proven threaded seal, and solid brass won’t crack or shatter.
Can it be engraved?
No. This urn is sold without engraving: its hand-etched design is what makes it one of a kind.
Does handmade mean it won’t be perfect?
It will be perfect, and its own. Small variations in the etching are the mark of a master’s hand. Every urn is inspected before it ships, and our Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee covers any defect.
How do I care for it?
A soft cloth and a gentle cleaner are all it needs, a few minutes now and then. Never use brass polish, which can strip the finish.
What if it isn’t right for us?
Return it unused, in its original condition and packaging, anytime, even years from now. If it ever has a defect or arrives damaged, we’ll replace it or refund you, your choice.
